Village Green

Your local beat team are aware of issues of anti-social use of vehicles particularly around Millennium Green. We have only had a small handful of reports in relation to this over the past few months, but we suspect that this is something that is occurring more frequently than is being reported. 

We are asking residents to report any sightings of anti-social vehicles to 101 or online at Home | Durham Constabulary to help us get a more accurate picture of the issue. Any information , such as vehicle descriptions would be incredibly helpful.

Both DCC and the local parish council are aware of this issue and agencies are working to reduce this problem. 

1 vehicle was also seized by police in January, after being identified as being responsible for causing damage to the green. Your reports help us to take positve action like this; so thankyou to those who have already contacted us about this.
